This exquisite offering is specifically designed to appease the powerful Norse deity, Thor. Crafted from a unique blend of soy and coconut wax, this candle emanates a rich and captivating aroma, combining the scents of Sandalwood, Mahogany Teakwood, and White Birch to create a truly enchanting fragrance. To further honor Thor, the candle is adorned with dried Juniper Berries, grown locally on our own Juniper trees here in the Ozarks of Missouri, as well as stunning red garnet crystals, both of which are recognized as sacred offerings to the mighty god. Hand-poured into an exquisite black and gold candle tin with a decorative Thor symbol.

Thor, the god of thunder in Germanic and Norse mythology, is known for wielding a magical hammer called "Mjölnir" (alternatively spelled Mjollnir or Melnir). This hammer, which only he can lift, is Thor's most recognizable symbol. When thrown into the sky, Mjölnir would return to him like a boomerang.

Thor is a powerful deity in Norse mythology, known for his association with thunder, lightning, storms, protection, and strength. He is also believed to have blessed weddings and protected mankind. Thor has long red hair and a beard and is the son of Odin, the ruler of the gods, and Jord, the personification of the earth. As an Aesir god, he is a warrior god and is often depicted in combat.

Thor was a paragon of strength and masculinity and was considered the fiercest of all Norse deities. He had the ability to command storms and rain and bring lightning and thunder. His association with fertility is due to his prodigious sexual appetite and his ability to impregnate women. Thor embodied the hero archetype and was brave, powerful, and righteous. Unlike Odin and Loki, who schemed and skulked, Thor faced his problems head-on with his hammer and a heart full of violence. Whenever the peace of the gods was threatened by a fearsome beast or wily jötunn, they turned to Thor for intervention.

Thor wedded Sif, who is the goddess of the earth. Apart from his hammer, Thor also owned a belt and gloves. Megingjord, the belt's name, is a combination of Megin (meaning strength) and gjord (meaning belt), rendering its literal translation as "strong belt". His gloves, known as "Jarngreipr", mean iron grippers or iron gauntlets. Thor traveled in a chariot pulled by two colossal goats, Tanngnjostr and Tanngrisnor. In Norse mythology, thunder is likened to the sound of Thor's chariot being drawn through the sky. The day Thursday is a derivative of "Thor's Day".
