Our Hades fragrance is truly fitting for the god of the underworld, with its rich and smoky aroma reminiscent of freshly cut firewood mingled with the distinct scent of gunpowder accord. The luxurious blend is further enhanced by the addition of fine leather and a subtle cologne undertone, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate the finer things in life. Give yourself or someone special the gift of pure, mystical fragrance with our incense cones and sticks.

Experience the ultimate in soothing and fragrant incense with our pure charcoal cones and sticks. Unlike other options on the market, our incense doesn't contain any wood filler, giving you the clearest and purest scent with less smoke.

Haides, the king of the underworld and god of the dead, was quite the powerful deity, presiding over funeral rites and fiercely defending the rights of the deceased to proper burial. But that wasn't all - this god was also responsible for hidden wealth, from the fertile soil nourishing seed-grain to the valuable metals extracted from the earth.

Interestingly, Haides had a rather tumultuous start to life. He was devoured by Kronos along with four of his siblings as soon as they were born. Luckily, Zeus was able to make the Titan disgorge them, and they all teamed up to drive the Titan gods from heaven and lock them away in the pit of Tartaros. When the three victorious brothers drew lots to divide the cosmos, Haides received the third portion - the dark, dismal underworld.

Despite his power, Haides desired a bride and sought out his brother Zeus to grant him one of his daughters. He was offered Persephone, the daughter of Demeter, but knowing that the goddess would resist the marriage, he ultimately agreed to forcefully abduct the girl. Demeter was understandably furious and caused a great dearth to fall upon the earth until her daughter was returned. Zeus was forced to concede, lest mankind perish, and the girl was brought back from the underworld. However, since she had tasted the pomegranate seed, she was compelled to return to Haides for a portion of each year.

Haides was often represented as a dark-bearded, regal god, either Aidoneus, enthroned in the underworld and holding a bird-tipped sceptre, or as Plouton, the giver of wealth, pouring fertility from a cornucopia. The Romans referred to him as Dis or Pluto, which is the Latin form of his Greek title, Plouton, "the Lord of Riches."

Pure charcoal incense can improve air quality when compared to regular wood-based incense and offers a more potent fragrance experience - try them today!

Incense Cone Burning Instructions:

🌛 Prepare a place to set your incense cone after it is lit. You should pick a fireproof surface that won't be damaged by heat or direct fire, such as an incense burner specially made for burning incense cones, foil on top of the sand in a large clay or metal container, Anything that's heat-resistant and will hold the cone is a suitable container. Make sure you place the container away from anything flammable, such as curtains, lampshades, or paper.

🌛 Light the smallest end of the incense cone at the tip. You will want to keep the end lit with a flame on it for 30-60 seconds, or until the tip of the cone glows orange *all the way across it* when the flame is extinguished. You want a nice, solid orange glow at the top of the incense cone - once you've established a nice solid orange glow on the top, extinguish the flame by blowing it out, or using a candle snuffer if you prefer. If it is not lit thoroughly before extinguishing the flame, your cone will not burn, it will just go out, so keep it lit with a flame until you achieve that solid orange coal burning.

🌛 After getting the top lit with a strong orange burn and then extinguishing the flame itself, set the incense cone down on your prepared surface or incense cone burner and enjoy!

All incense will produce smoke, but our incense smoke is only pure fragrance, unlike most incense which is made mostly of wood filler. Without wood filler, you get pure fragrance!
