Bastet, also known as Bast, was an ancient Egyptian goddess worshipped as early as the Second Dynasty (2890 BCE). Her name is also referred to as B'sst, Baast, Ubaste, and Baset. In Greek mythology, she was known as Ailuros.

Bastet was initially worshipped in Bubastis in Lower Egypt as a lioness goddess, a role shared by other deities like Sekhmet. Over time, Bastet and Sekhmet came to be seen as two aspects of the same goddess, with Sekhmet representing the powerful warrior and protector aspect and Bastet, who was increasingly depicted as a cat, representing a gentler aspect.

✨Each of our products is crafted individually in our home studio in our tiny home in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri and made to order using a unique custom blend of eco-friendly waxes – allowing for the maximum fragrance load possible and providing a long-lasting scent; that is earth (and lung) friendly!✨

Instructions: Always ensure the wick is trimmed to under 1/4" (6.35mm) before and during burning. Refrain from burning for more than 4 hours at a stretch. When the overall wax level falls to 1/4" (6mm) or less in the container, discontinue use. Be cautious as the container can become scalding. It is advisable to burn the candle on heatproof and safe surfaces away from children and pets. Also, avoid melted wax contact with the skin to prevent burns.

During warmer months, we cannot guarantee that your melts will not melt slightly during transportation by USPS. In such a case, try refrigerating the candle for a few minutes before opening or using them. If a substantial amount melts or you encounter any other issues, please contact us through messages and attach a photo of the item. We assure you that we will make it right with you!
